Kick off the holiday season at Mt Hood Town Hall – Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8 – Our kind of one stop shop for the holidays – with Trees, Cookies, Gifts, Crafts…and of course, SANTA!
Start the weekend with our U-Pick, We Cut Christmas tree sales – Volunteers from the MHTH Board will be selling trees in the back lot on Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8 from 10AM to 4PM each day. Trees from $30. You pick the tree you want, we’ll cut it for you… and even help you load it!
On Sunday, December 8 ONLY, MHTH’s Cookies with Santa and Handmade Holiday Market is set from 11AM to 4PM. Kids can get their picture taken with the jolly old elf himself, decorate a festive shortbread cookie, and make fun holiday gifts. Photos with Santa by Hart’s Images from 12PM to 4PM available for purchase.
The Handmade Holiday Market is the perfect place to get a jump on your holiday shopping. Local artisans including potters, painters, and jewelry makers offer their finest handmade creations.
And our community volunteer cooks will be busy in the kitchen serving a hot light lunch of Mother’s Market creamy tomato soup with polenta, and cornbread (suggested donation of $5) to support our community meals program.

We are very excited to present our upcoming INTERESTING PEOPLE events. There are so many amazing stories our neighbors and friends have to share… Hope you can join us!
Friday, January 17, 2020 at 6:30PM, features Kyle Donahue (Tim and Jenni’s son) who spent 6 months living in Mongolia (of all places). Kyle is an adventurer and will share his stories of living in one of the most remote places on earth (that I’ve ever heard of…). He’s got stories to tell – and pictures! Light refreshments will be served. (It also happens to be Roger Nelson’s birthday so there will likely be cake!)
