Jane Fellows Performs Lou Henry Hoover Play

Tuesday, March 7, 6:00 PM

$25 per person includes performance, wine and dessert
We have a unique opportunity to bring artist and actress Jane Fellows to the Town Hall to perform a play portraying the life of “First Lady Lou”.  Lou Henry was the wife of US president Herbert Hoover and was a woman well ahead of her times and a woman of “firsts”. She was the the first woman to earn a geology degree from Stanford; the only first lady to speak an Asian language; the first First Lady to speak regularly on the radio! In addition, Lou was a leader in encouraging women’s voice as she broke from social restrictions long placed around women. Witness this intriguing first lady come to life at the masterly crafted performance by talented actress, Jane Fellows!
  • Wine and desserts served during intermission
