The Town Hall is happy to announce the return of Pickleball to the courts at MHTH.  We just completed crack filling and line painting so the nets are back up and the courts are available. For those who haven’t tried it, Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines parts of badminton and tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles to hit a wiffle ball over a net, and the court is much smaller than a tennis court.  Many first timers find it easy and enjoyable to play.

Like the playground and recycling center, the pickleball courts are open from 8 a.m. until dusk and there are no reservations–just show up and play.  Courts are usually available, but please limit your playing time if others are waiting. We have rackets and balls to use too….please see John, who oversees the recycling center and building security. He lives south of the Town Hall driveway and almost always is there.

Two courts will be available at all times except during special events. If you have want to host a big group or event and could use four courts,  please call Kristin, the Town Hall manager (541 402 4448), to arrange.
