It’s one thing to vacation in Bali, Indonesia. It’s another to move your family to live there for six months. As part of the Mt Hood Town Hall’s (MHTH) Interesting People series, local artist Shanda Pickhardt will share her family’s recent stay in Ubud, Bali, how her two children adapted to life in a foreign land, and what each family member learned from the experience. This is a good opportunity for anyone to learn more about life in Bali, especially those who might be planning to visit.
The talk will be Monday, November 19 from 7 to 8PM at the Mt Hood Town Hall. This FREE event is part of MHTH’s occasional series of “Interesting People” talks by local residents. For more information, please contact Mt Hood Town Hall manager Kristin Reese at 541-402-4448 or visit mthoodtownhall.org.
